Thursday, 18th December 2008 - Last day in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysian Borneo

Like everything in life, our experience is coming to its end. Almost all my colleagues have come back home and we have packed our suitcases, too. Tomorrow we'll fly home from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur and from Kuala Lumpur to Roma Fiumicino. The results of the conference are great: appreciation for the work we have done and a lot of contacts and projects to carry out next year. I'll tell you everything in Italy. For the moment Merry Christmas and some more beautiful pictures from a tropical country that celebrates Christmas when the temperature is more than 30 degrees centigrade, where a lot of young boys and girls work long hours everyday, where life develops under the burning sun, where the children are many and wonderful, where the people always smile at the strangers even if they know that they can spend in a morning in a shopping centre what they earn in a month.
